Level up your improv skills!
Students will learn the elements of organic improvisation. We will practice multiple types of edits between two and three person scenes, non-traditional group games, and finally create a form to showcase at the class graduation show.

Beginner Improv Class
Now is the time to unlock your creative potential and dive into the world of improv. This 6 week beginner course consists of fun physical and mental exercises, social group activities, engaging open discussions on how to apply improv to life, and plenty of joyful laughter. No experience needed (in fact, it's preferred)!

In the second class of CATCh's Performance Track, you will master the essential elements of long-form improv such as show introductions, set openings, character game, edits, walk-ons, and more!
PREREQUISITE: 1+ years experience on a long-form team or successful completion of PT1: Discovering the Scene.

Learn How to Play Improv Games
Each week, students will be introduced to improv games, many of which you have seen on Whose Line is it Anyway? In addition to learning the games, students will play big characters, understand the importance of topical references, and build skills to host and edit games! If you have a desire to get up on stage and play bold and silly characters, all while making an audience laugh...this class is for you.

Performance Track Class 1
Through more advanced exercises and two-person scenework, students will be guided on how to initiate scenes, develop characters from their life experiences, and build relationships with their scene partners. Concludes with a student showcase that's destined to be a new, joyful core memory for you!
